What players are saying
I like Courted because it feels like a one stop tennis shop for all my playing needs and USTA captaining needs. I can find new players to hit with, send lineups out, check my players' availability and so much more all in one app!
Finally, the app that USTA Captains have been waiting for! Makes team organization and communication a breeze and the court condition feature is useful on match day too.
Since downloading Courted my life has fallen apart. My wife left me after I got 0 points on the Shot of the Day and now all my friends shame me when I lose a match.
Downloaded Courted because I thought it was a dating app for people with an affinity for recency-era values. I "proposed a hit" on the app looking for love and then some dude with tennis racquets showed up. 0 stars.
Our story
Jackson and Jeron first met as data scientists at the same company — and it didn't take long for Jeron to drag Jackson onto a tennis court. Jackson hadn't picked up a racquet seriously before, but he didn't look back. They started playing together in Atlanta, trading volleys on city courts after work and on weekends.
When both moved to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, something clicked. They found a tennis community that was genuinely warm, welcoming, and competitive in the best way. Casual hits turned into real friendships. USTA league seasons became a shared obsession. As J&J, they've played nearly every doubles match together — starting at 4.0, winning a few trophies along the way, and eventually getting bumped to 4.5 where the results got harder but the fun never stopped.
"Tennis gave us a community we didn't know we were looking for. We just wanted to make it easier for everyone else to find theirs."
But even with a great community around them, the logistics were always a mess. Scheduling a casual hit meant posting in a group chat where messages got buried. Rescheduling a rained-out league match required texts, emails, and a Google Sheet only the captain could find. You'd drive to a public court and find it flooded with no way to know ahead of time. And after a great match, there was no easy way to share it or see what the rest of your tennis circle was up to.
Courted is the app they wished existed — for the player new to a city trying to find people to hit with, and equally for the seasoned team captain tired of juggling five different apps for one season. Tennis is better when it's easier to play.
Courted is coming soon to iOS and Android.
